In the summer season there are wine and food routes, international festivals, such as the Ravello Festival the atre, concerts, and other spectacles, and events in Sorrento.

In spring the rites of the holy week of Sorrento and Piano attract tourists from all over Italy.

From Wednesday through to Good Friday, the towns come to a halt and the main streets see a variety of processions parading down them, and the narrow streets of the historical centre are alive with colour and vibrancy for these ancient rites.

During Christmastime most churches host the traditional nativity scenes with precious statues of the old Neapolitan presepial school.

Very striking are the living nativities, representing scenes of the nativity in the small towns with the local townsfolk participating.

The calendar of the rites and celebrations for December is rich with artistic itineraries and traditional events, such as the March of Pipers, and many food tastings of typical products.
